Each year during the State Fair of Texas, The Women's Museum hosts the Texas Girls' State Fair. Now in the program's fifth year, we are proud to have honored over 300 young women of Texas.

The Texas Girls' State Fair was designed to increase the confidence and self-esteem of girls ages 10 - 18 in Texas. The program is a three-week event during the State Fair of Texas when millions of people explore the fairgrounds for the largest, greatest and most entertaining events. The purpose of the program is to honor, recognize and showcase the achievements and interests of Texas girls from ages 10 - 18 in our spectacular and unique building.

During the next few weeks we will be posting the biographies of some of the young women participating this year.
